Course content: improve and innovate

The main theme of Project Eden is to develop your technical expertise and operational management skills. All on-the-job training is project-based development activity that focuses on improving performance.

Here’s what to expect at Reaseheath:

Year One

Modules last 12 weeks and include food and dairy safety, dairy workplace practices and dairy chemistry and microbiology. These are vital in producing Dairy Technologists who can develop innovative techniques for the dairy industry of the future.

Year Two

Spend 18 weeks concentrating on the theory and practice of dairy products such as liquid milk, cheese, yogurt and butter. Expect to gain a firm grasp of production processes through extensive practical work, and to be introduced to project management to prepare for your final year.

Year Three

This 12-week block puts your learning into practice through major project work. There’s less emphasis on formal teaching and more supported learning on your project topic. You focus on resolving issues related to your particular workplace, giving you experience that you can apply directly to Robert Wiseman Dairies.
